Water Bottle Labels - Rainbow Party!

All the custom labels are from piggy bank parties
They have heaps of free downloads.
I used the Banner , Party Bags & the water labels.

I've had loads of questions about how to make the labels.
My way is so simple & free!
Print your label
Cut each label out & place face down on sticky tape.
The kind you buy for closing boxes.
Make sure You leave some tape on each end them stick to bottle.

Thank you goodies for the kids

Type up whatever message you like.

The banner is from piggy bank as well.

Crayon Canvas - Rainbow Party

These are splashed all over Pinterest
I always wanted to make one, so it was perfect for the Rainbow Party.

Here's how I made it.

Materials:
2 x packs of Crayons
Hot Glue Gun
Hair dryer

I used two packets of crayons to get more of the same colours.
I took out the black & browns
Grouped them together.
Lay them on the canvas to see if you need to removed any or add more.

Hot glue each crayon. You must be quick, as it dries fast

All Glued on

My Assistant

It's very Important to always keep the hair dryer on low airflow with hot air, or on medium.
I didn't and it starts to spatter every where. (below Image)

Keep it nice & close, melt from the middle of the crayons down.

Do as much melting as you like.
It does dry super fast, but you can just remelt again.

All Done!

Button "2" - Rainbow Party

Pinterest was the main source of my ideas for the Rainbow Party
& the No. 2 Button was one of them.

This is how I made it.

Materials:
Hard Cardboard
Paint (optional)
Buttons
Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun

I freehand draw a 2 on the cardboard.
It took me a few times to get it right.
(I am a terrible drawer)
Cut out once right!

I painted the 2 because I knew there would be gaps & I didn't want the brown cardboard showing through.
You could cover it with coloured cardboard.

 Get all the buttons ready.
I do have a large collection of them, but you can buy them in bulk from craft stores.
Look in the Dollar Baskets.

 Hot Glue them on anywhere.

Attached Ribbon on back with Hot Glue for Hanging

All done!

Feather Headband - Rainbow Party

I saw THIS & loved it.
I knew I wanted something colourful in her hair,
because I had decided she was going to wear her white lace dress.

This is how I made it.

Materials:
Colourful Feathers
Elastic Lace
Hot Glue Gun
Pearl Stickers
(I got them from Spotlight, they are for Scrapbooking)

First I measured Ella's head & took away 3cm.
Cut the Lace to size

Hot glued the ends together.
Of course sewing them together is also ok.

Arranged the feathers to look pretty.
Hot Glued them on.

Added the pearl stickers with glue

DONE! TOO EASY!

Ok, so she hates wearing headbands. Too my disappointment!!

I made the same with a hair clip.

Cut felt to size of hair clip,
Hot glue all on.

Tissue Paper Pom Pom's - Rainbow Party

Love These!
They make the main table look so pretty!
For $1 a Pom Pom, you can't go wrong.
This is how I made them.

Materials:
1 x Packet of tissue paper
Fishing Wire
1 x Pipe Cleaner
Scissors

Lay tissue Paper flat, then start folding like a fan, back & forth until the end.
I did mine around 5 cm.

Should look like this.
Fold the down hard.

Now fold in half & make crease of half way

Tie the pipe cleaner in the middle, then twist the 2 end together. We use this part for hanging later.

Fold together again. See how the ends are uneven.

Cut 1 end.
It can be rounded or cut in a V. Whatever you like.

Then cut the other end to match

Fan open one end.
If you keep your fingers in between the cresses, it makes it much easier to hold and pull apart.

Start by VERY CAREFULLY pulling one piece of tissue paper away from the middle.
This will rip if you don't go slowly.

You can see in the below picture that I didn't pull all the way down to where the pipe cleaner is. This is because I'm inpatient!
Basically, the more you pull away, the bigger the pom pom will be.

Side view

Then flip & do the same on the other side.
You must alternate the sides you pull from. This makes it easier.

Keep Going

One side done.

Flip & do the same to the other side.

Once finished you can easily attach the fishing wire
to the pipe cleaner to hang.

DONE!

How AMAZING do they look!?!
